Here at Rushmoor Youth Swimming we believe that swimming is a life skill which all children should have the right to learn. We are passionate about ensuring that children can learn to be safe in and around water and so that they can get themselves out of difficulty in the future.

We hope you find it easy to find the pages you want. If you can't find what you are looking for, please feel free to email us and will we respond with an answer.

You can find the Test Dates for the current Term online, and criteria for Tests within the Courses page.
If your child is in Octopus 1,2,3 or Goldfish 1,2,3 then please use the questions to practice for their test.

Information about our Club

We swim on Thursday evenings from 6:30 until 8:00. We are a private swimming club, teaching children from the age of 6. We give preference to children who are involved in Scouts, Guides, St John Ambulance or any other recognised youth organisation. Currently we charge £20 for a 14 week term.

We run lessons every thursday apart from a few exceptions. ie bank holidays and pool closurers.

Our Club Aims

1. To make sure all children learn to swim in a safe enviroment.
2. To make sure all children have fun when learning to swim.
3. That all children can at least swim 25 meters by the end of Year 6.
4. That every child can get themselves out of difficulty in the future

We teach to the International Water Safety Standards directed by the Swimming Teachers Association.

These consist of many skills and all four Aquatic strokes will be taught.

This club is a member of the Rushmoor Swimming Association
